Love takes time.. Hmm.
Well, I think falling in love is so simple. It doesn’t take you too long to love someone.
To prove that you love someone, you have to do it through actions. But love, the action, can only come from love, the feeling.
Love as a feeling itself is not enough—as everyone says. But I believe it is important to love, because without the feeling, what makes you want to act upon it?
You can perform every action of love without actually loving someone. You can stay, you can listen, you can care, you can remember the little things, you can do everything that looks like love.
But when you truly love someone, the feeling makes you want to act.
It makes you want to stay when leaving would be easier. It makes you want to understand instead of simply being understood. It makes you notice the little things, not because you have to, but because you care enough to.
That’s why I don’t think love necessarily takes time.
Maybe knowing someone takes time.
Maybe trusting someone takes time.
Maybe building something with someone takes time.
But falling in love?
Sometimes, I think that happens before you even realize it.
Because love is the feeling that makes you choose.
And the choices are what make the feeling real.
